Compliance · certifications · documents

Documents and certifications, in full.

Ukrainian wood pellets enter the EU under HS code 4401.31, duty-free under DCFTA, with no anti-dumping measures. The compliance burden sits on origin documentation, ENplus permission, FSC chain-of-custody where applicable, and the EUDR file. We handle all four.

ENplus

We operate under written permission per ENplus ST 1003 §7.1.3, issued by the certified producer for each shipment. Pellets are delivered in the producer's certified packaging — no rebagging. The producer's ENplus ID appears on every commercial invoice.

FSC

A portion of our supplier base holds FSC chain-of-custody. Where the producer is FSC-certified, the FSC claim travels on the invoice and bill of lading. State your FSC requirement in the RFQ and we will match supply accordingly.

EUDR

EU Regulation 2023/1115 covers wood pellets (HS 4401.31). The application date is 30 December 2026 for large operators and 30 June 2027 for small operators. We are building geolocation traceability with each producer partner now and provide a Due Diligence Statement to buyers on request.

Pre-shipment inspection

Every shipment is inspected before dispatch by SGS or Bureau Veritas. Per-batch tests cover moisture, ash, calorific value, mechanical durability, and fines. The Certificate of Analysis travels with the shipping documents. Buyers may nominate a third inspector at buyer's cost.
